Why do we think that writing opaque documents is a good thing? e.g.  High-quality learning environments are a necessary precondition for facilitation and enhancement of the ongoing learning process. or   Children need good schools if they are to learn properly..

Yes we agreed that middle leadership is too widely varied but it is our responsibility to provide opportunities to increase knowledge and enhance understanding which should be used to improve performance and outcomes in teaching, learning, leadership, management and pupil outcomes. All opportunities for such dialogue should be focussed on proactive engagement with the work of the individual analysing areas for improvement as well as confirming and celebrating successes. The purpose is to ratchet upwards the quality of performance by continually reviewing practice.
